Mission and Vision
We aim to become a model community full of empathy, openness, and support, where every child on the autism spectrum and their family can find space for growth and a sense of belonging.
We strive for our actions to contribute to creating a world where diversity is a value, and all children have equal opportunities for growth and the realisation of their dreams.
Who Are We?
ZrozuMieć Autyzm is an initiative born out of the need to support children with autism and their families. We create a space for development, education, and integration. Our team consists of passionate individuals with experience in working with children with various disabilities.
Our story began with a simple conversation between a mother of a child on the autism spectrum, a therapist, and a volunteer. From the perspective of these three different individuals, a project was created with the goal of helping families of children on the spectrum step out of their homes and function in the world around them.
Three different people were united by one goal: to give these families the strength and belief to keep
fighting! We work locally in London, helping families find support in their daily challenges.
WE ORGANISE:
Workshops and meetings aimed at educating parents, exchanging
experiences, and providing therapeutic support.
Inclusive events: picnics, special events, and themed gatherings.
Activities for children: group and individual therapies.
Informational support: guidance on where to seek help and how to cope with challenging situations.
